According to the World Health\nOrganization, the primary way to stop the spread of the Corona Virus is\ncontainment, hence quarantining the people, and identifying the infected ones,\nand treating them in quarantine, is almost every country\u2019s approach as of now!\nAs a country, we in India are also practicing the same, in lieu of which, the\nwhole country is on lockdown. Amidst this, there\u2019s an increased risk and\nresponsibility to warriors who are working day in and day out to clean and\nsanitize our surroundings!<\/p>

These Maintenance Warriors at\nAshiana Housing have been doing a commendable job in their societies, be it\nsanitization of common areas, or food arrangements in Senior Living Homes,\neverything is being done in a proper routine and is very hygienic and healthy!\nIt is very much evident by the heartfelt feedback given by a number of\nresidents of Ashiana Housing! It is all possible only because of Ashiana Maintenance Team <\/strong>and their\nextra efforts in such a situation. In addition to continuing with routine work,\nextra care is being taken to sanitize all places, to restrict unauthorized\nentry & to maintain social distancing everywhere on the grounds! Their work\nhas been commendable and it can be seen in the resident applauding digital\nvoices!<\/p> Being\nrecognized as North India\u2019s No. 1 Caring\nBrand<\/strong> long before this pandemic, we aptly owe alot to our residents. We are\nstriving to do so, day by day even in such hard times, to stand up to the\nexpectations and keep our spirits and our name and our promises, as high as\never!<\/p> Here\u2019s a quick\nview of what our residents have to say about us!<\/p> 1. Mr. Ganesh Nerur – Shubham, Chennai<\/strong><\/p> Living in a Senior Living gated community like Ashiana Shubham Active\nSenior Living, Chennai at this time of a pandemic is a blessing in disguise.\nThe sprawling campus, by its very design, gives us ample social distancing, so\nmuch so, there is no significant effort required to follow this all-important\ninstruction. Pollution is normally very low and has gone even lower. The\nmaintenance team is doing a splendid job of disinfecting all the common areas,\nfumigating twice a week, cold fogging et al. The security at the gate is\nscreening visitors, if any, for fever with an Infra-Red Gun and generally the\ngate is kept locked with restricted movements in and out of the campus. The\ncafeteria, though closed for senior citizens, is working, as usual, delivering\nfood to the residents at their homes three times a day with utmost care. They\ngave us even a course of Khabhasura Khashyam! Amal Raj, the caf\u00e9 manager, and\nhis team are doing a fabulous job.<\/p> They are also arranging fruits and vegetables twice a\nweek, with distribution strictly following social distancing norms. Two\nresident doctors are always willing to help in an emergency. A doctor also\nvisits us three times a week. Of course, the usual activities have been halted\nbut our activity manager keeps the old bean ticking with daily online quizzes\nand games! What else can a Senior citizen ask for? To top it all, our Estate\nManager, Shyam V S Nair<\/a>, personally delivers all the required medicines to\nseniors, deposits cheques, collects cash, and is generally running around\nunmindful of the risk he is exposing himself to, besides going above and beyond\nthe call of his duty. And what all this means is all the senior citizens are\nnot only safe but also leading as normal a life as possible under the\ncircumstances! My sincere Thanks to Shyamjith, Amal Raj, and the entire\nmaintenance team at Ashiana.<\/p> And, listening to all my approbation, a friend of mine\nquipped \u201cDid you move to Ashiana in 2018 anticipating this Corona?\u201d. Mr. Vinod Bhatnagar – Utsav, Bhiwadi<\/strong><\/p> During the compulsory homestay due to CORONA havoc, we at Ashiana\nUtsav in Jaipur are feeling very much privileged due to some great services by\nthe staff of our Service Provider Ashiana Maintenance Services LLP.<\/p> Firstly, they have\narranged domestic helpers for routine sweeping and cleaning (\u091d\u093e\u0919\u0942 \u092a\u094b\u0902\u091b\u093e) of our\nflats ( photo 1). These domestic helpers have been provided accommodation at\nour UTSAV Residential Complex but only after a thorough medical check-up by a\ndoctor. This is a great boon for most of the residents as the majority of us at\nthe Campus are above 70. The domestic helpers have been well instructed by AMS\nLLP staff regarding precautions required to protect against CORONA.<\/p> Secondly, though the UTSAV CAFE dining facility is closed\nfor entry due to Corona threat, freshly cooked food is routinely served at the\nflats ( photo 2….today we had oil-free but spicy and very tasty freshly\nprepared tomato soup, urad ki daal and vegetable kofte, four chapatis, oil-free\nlime pickle, vegetable salade, and roasted papad. All this together with\nhomemade mixed fruit curd raita make a perfect feast). The packing charges for\nhome delivery of cooked food have also been waived off during this period. A\ncore Cafe staff have been retained right here at the Campus. Even the Chef of\nthe Cafe is currently staying at the Campus to train junior staff to cater the\nday to day needs of the senior citizen residents at UTSAV and also for the\nresidents at the Care Homes.<\/p> The two above mentioned daily most essential needs are thus\ntaken care of by the Service Provider.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Additionally, I enjoy cleaning the utensils three times\nevery day ( photo 3). For me, the cleaning of utensils exercise becomes much\neasier because of the fact that there is no oil used in the cooking for us. It is\nbecause we have been taking completely oil-free meals for the past several\nyears due to our heart-related ailment. Utsav Cafe staff is very well trained\nto provide such special meals for us on a daily basis.<\/p> We at UTSAV are truly blessed and the credit goes to the\ndedicated services rendered by AMS LLP during this tough phase for almost all\nSenior Citizens residing at ASHIANA UTSAV, Jaipur – a completely wheelchair\nfriendly residential complex for only senior citizens.<\/p> 8.
